Terms of use

The terms on which Tinctorel is offered for iOS. In effect from 25 October 2026.

By installing or playing Tinctorel you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

Your licence

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Tinctorel on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment and not for commercial purposes.

Gold leaf and wares

Gold leaf is earned only by playing: granting arms and riding in the Long Tourney. It is spent inside the game on aids, shield borders, easel backdrops and mantling. Gold leaf and the goods it unlocks have no value outside the game. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything outside the game, and they are lost if the app is deleted or its progress is reset. The game offers no in-app purchases.

Fair use of the app

Please do not copy, modify, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, or tamper with its saved data in order to misrepresent progress. Tinctorel is a single-player game for personal use.

Ownership

The game, including its heraldic artwork, its sound effects, its writing and its code, belongs to its developer. Your licence lets you play it; it does not pass any ownership to you. The houses, mottos and arms in the game are fictional.

As it is

Tinctorel is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app.

Players of every age

Tinctorel is a family-friendly game with no online features, suitable for a general audience.

Updates to these terms

These terms may be revised. The current version is always on this page, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
